It’s time for an unforgettable stroll in the forest…on the water !

With its 1200 hectars worth of forest, Fort de France’s bay represents Martinique’s biggest mangrove, and is home 95% of the caribbean’s fish species.

After a short trip across fort de France’s bay, you’ll paddle leisurely whilst discovering the amazing fauna and flora typically found in the mangrove. All the while, you will be able to admire the birds, fish and crabs found in the surroundings.

Let yourself be charmed by the sounds of nature, in a serene and enchanting universe!

Kayak trips are conducted alone or with one of our allocated guides: Sébastian, Ludovic, Jean Jacques, Gregory or Bernard. Our guides speak English and would be delighted to accompany groups speaking another language.

Guided trips give you the opportunity to discover numerous species and understand the mangroves significant role in our environment.

From Rivière-Sallée, Rivière Genipa or Rivière Vatable, our kayaking routes in Fort de France’s bay are accessible to all !
